ROLL-LIFT handles the cost of roll handling with ease. system actually lifts, turns and transports roll, coil or spool materials such as paper, film or foil with the push of a button.

Although one might suppose these jobs to be a small part of an overall operation, a ROLL-LIFT System can substantially cut costs by speeding up production, reducing material damage and lowering In fact, we handle it with fingertip control. Because ROLL-LIFT's injuries.

Three ROLL-LIFT models are available with lifting capacities ranging from 10 lbs. to one ton. A complete selection of roll, coil, and spool handling equipment and accessories is also available. ROLL-LIFT also offers the widest range of core chucks available today.

THE ROLL-LIFT means total efficiency :

ROLL-LIFT provides a faster, safer, easier method of roll handing and are available in three models: L1, L2 and L3.

The spring loaded ROLL-LIFT probe is easily inserted into the center core of the material. Four gravity activated teeth on the probe's end, grip the core firmly.

This method assures the load cannot be disengaged from the probe while the load is suspended in air. This is an important safety feature. Once the probe is inserted in the roll, the load is tipped, lifted and moved to wherever it is needed. Once the roll material is moved to the space required, it can be easily lowered into position. Then, with just a squeeze of the handle grip, the probe's grip on the core is released. All controls are operated by a finger controlled push button, making for ease of operation. ROLL-LIFT can grip vertical and horizontal rolls with equal control. (Note: cannot be released when load is suspended in air.)

      • 115V AC-powered, single phase, 60Hz.
      • Electric actuators not to exceed 10 cycles per hour on units, 35 cycles per hour on L1 units.
      • Electric Lift turns in 6 seconds; capacity up to 750 pounds.
      • Electric Lift turns in 15 seconds; capacity up to 2000 pounds.
      • Electric Lift turns in 18 seconds; capacity up to 2000 pounds.
      • Air units are approximately twice as fast and supplied with flow control mufflers for adjustment. Minimum 80 p.s.i. required.
      • Hoist controls can be added to pendant on Roll-Lifts.       Contact for details.
      • In some applications pendant can be substituted with toggle switches mounted to handle. Contact us for details.
      • Minimum 3" wide roll required for probe to work properly.
      • Roll-Lifts can be supplied with a quick release pin for interchanging probes to accommodate different core diameters as needed.
      • Some operators may have difficulty squeezing the V-shaped handle required to retract the teeth. We offer a pneumatic tooth release package. Contact us for details.


    THE ROLL-LIFTs   in Ergonomic Operation :

    1. Guide the probe into the hole up to the flange.
    2. Raise the load via hoist control.
    3. To turn in horizontal direction push TILT up. To turn in vertical position, push TILT down.
    4. To disengage probe from roll, lower the load into resting position then squeeze double handle together, hold and remove from roll.
